Asbestos awareness training is a mandatory requirement for anyone liable to be exposed to asbestos fibres. The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006 prevents anyone from working on or in the vicinity to Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM’s) unless they have received the correct training which details how such work should be undertaken.

This course provides information on the health effects and uses of asbestos, where it can be found and used and the dangers associated. The course length may vary.
This course has been designed to build on the basic asbestos awareness course with a practical session on the equipment and procedures for working on and removing certain ACM’s and how to carry this work out safely including managing the waste produced. This is a one day course which can carried out at you own premises for £1595 for up to 10 delegates.
This course is aimed at those who already have asbestos awareness training and consists of training and a practical session on the equipment and procedures for working on and removing certain ACM’s and how to carry this work out safely including managing the waste produced. This is a half day course which can carried out at you own premises for £695 for up to 10 delegates. The course looks at working procedures detailed in current HSE guidance (HSG210)
